Tattoo parlor and Art Gallery, Royal Flesh asked me if I would be willing to have a solo exhibition for around a month this fall, and I would have creative control of said exhibition. I took a few seconds to ponder it but I agreed, of course. This marked my first ever completely solo exhibition of my artwork anywhere. I displayed 16 of my limited edition prints along the entire gallery side of the space. It was an amazing experience and the best turn out they have ever received for an event of this kind. My heart felt thanks go out to everyone who came out to support me and my creations. They have asked me back to have another show next year. This time I will bring new works...

This exhibition has been a long time in the making. On February 5th, 2010, "Vistas and Visions" opens here at Gallerie MK. This exhibition will showcase many of our current artists and new artists and their depictions of the world around them. Landscapes have been a prevalent subject for artists throughout the centuries. Now we would like to showcase interpretations of this timeless subject by our artists; and as always, and in keeping with one of the gallery's major goals, Gallerie MK will be exhibiting diverse artistic styles- from the Abstract to the Hyper Realistic. With over 200 people in attendance, this marked the exhibition as the biggest one so far.

This is an exhibition celebrating the iconic areas and architechture of the great city of Chicago. All artwork in the main gallery are dipictions the city as seen through the eyes of our represented artsits as well as some new emerging artists selected for the month of December. My latest piece, "Elevated Steel and Glass" was completed in time for this exhibition, many of the people in attendence seem to big very receptive to it.

The Rainbows Organization is an international not-for-profit foundation serving to assist children who have experienced tragic loss and life altering crisis. Through counciling and an overall nurturing principal, this organization has helped countless children all over the world for the last 25 years. Susan Deming, a representative for Rainbows approached us at the gallery inquiring to whether we would be willing to doante some artwork to their annual auction and fundraiser. It was quite the amazing event, over 250 of Chicago's finacial and socail elite were in attendence. I was honored to be a part of this incredibly rewarding exhibition.

This was an exhibition featuring our first wave of new artists at Gallerie MK along with brand new art from our represented artists. I was pleased to see so much new work form so many artists, the turnout was amazing and the response was incredible. One of our most successful shows to date.

It is an exhibition celebrating the essence of the female form. A portion of all proceeds raised for the duration of the show will be donated in support of breast cancer research to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

This was an exhibition that served as our first fundraising event and the kick off of gallery season here in Chicago. Our show acted as both an exhibition for our represented artists and a fundraising event for the Anti-Cruelty Society here in Chicago. We were very pleased to have the oppurtinity to raise money for such a nobel cause.

It took serious resolve and sacrifice to make this happpen. Myself and two fellow artists took over and opened this gallery at 12:01 am June 30. We were remodeled, rehung, and ready to break into the River North Art District on July 3rd. I now am the Gallery Director of Gallerie MK. "An art gallery by artists, for artists." www.GallerieMK.com. I couldn't be happier with this oppurtunity. As director and artist in residence, I will be a part of exhibitions each month as well as other special events and fundraisers. This was out first official opening and it was a rousing success. Now I will have work hanging in this amazing artistic district indefinitely.

Once again I was privileged enough to be part of Effe Leven's monthly exhibitions. The weather was not very conducive to great numbers but it was still a pleasent evening. I look forward to the exhibitions of this summer with great weather and busy streets.

Now that I am part of Effe Leven Gallery's stable of artists, my work is on display therel full time, sometimes on my own wall, and sometimes in the front window at street level. Additionally, I have become the assistant gallery director and was instrumental in the organization and execution of the April exhibition as well as the day to day operations of the gallery. I was honored to be included in a show with such established and collected Chicago artists such as Voy Madeyski and Bruce B. Jefferson. And now, I show my work with these talented individuals full time. Thusfar, this is my greatest accomplishment artistically since moving to in Chicago.

I was selected by Effe Leven Gallery to be showcased in the February General Artists' Exhibtion. Myself and 17 other artists were featured in this show and it was a great sucess. This is the first time a gallery has choosen my work to be displayed in the downtown area. The River North Art District is the largest colletion of galleries in the city. This gallery is actually right around the corner form the gallery I work at, so I get to check my work out whenever I like during the week. This also marked the first time my work was recognized from previous shows, quite a cool occurence. My work will be on display here for the entire month, hopefully longer.

My second exhibiton in the Wicker Park neighborhood. This
one was enormously successful. Dubbed by me as the 40 below
show, on account of the weather, I hardly expected any turnout.
In actuallity, the opposite occured. The place was packed,
and I received more rsvp's for this exhibition than most others.
It marked the most successful show thusfar.

Another installment of the emerging artists' shows here in
Andersonville at Morpho Gallery. Lots of talented artists
were involved in this exhibition and despite the heavy snow,
drew a decent turnout.

Explorations was a show held at the Art Center in the highly
affluant suburb of Highland Park. I was selected along with
around 40 other artists out of around 400 submissions for
this exhibition held for emerging Chicago area artists. Two
other openings featuring well known and established Chicago-land
artists such as Thomas Masters were held on the same night
which in turn drew swarms of people. Great exposure for me,
and they are interested in hanging my work in future exhibitions.

Earlier this year, I was selected by
the Chicago Artists' Coalition to be showcased in the largest
collection of Chicago area artists of the year. The
Chicago Art Open - 2009. Out of the countless applicants,
around 300 artists were selected for this years' exhibition.
By the end of the show, over 5,000 art patrons visited the
exhibit's opening night, and the numorous ensuing tours and
lectures. It was a great honor to be a part of such an event.
My piece "Dante Alighieri" was
selected by the jurors to be represented.

The Andersonville/Bowmanville neighborhood
,in coorilation with the Chamber of Commerce, held the first
annual Wheres
Bowmanville? Art festival.
Eight locations in total participated in this event including
Morpho Gallery and Avram Eisen Studio. The opening night event
was on September 12th and produced a heavy turn out despite
the down pour of rain. After this show,
Morpho Gallery asked to retain my piece, "The
Silhouette Within" as part of their permenate collection

The first summer exhibition of 2008
at Andersonville's, Morpho Gallery.
Represented at this show was a collection of over 30 emerging,
talented artists from the Chicago-land area. I had the priveledge
of displaying three of my recently finished pieces in this
show. Always a great turn out, great art and great people.
An art exhibition and music festival
featuring a group of emerging Chicago area artists as well
as musicians and poets. The event was held in the eclectic
neighborhood of Wicker Park at a Chicago
Artist Collective (Charc) venue, The Wor Loft. The
owners of the space were very generous and are vital patrons
of the art community as a whole, especially for the West side.

Two group art exhibitions featuring
local emerging Chicago artists. These events marked the first
public display of my work here in Chicago. Held at Morpho
Gallery in the Bowmanville area of North Chicago,
the exhibition drew an ecelctic array of expressive artists.
Over 15 in all. Phase 1 of the show took place in mid-January,
and Phase 2 began on February 8th. It was a great time and
a great turn out. I fully intend on being a part of more exhibitions
there in the future.

A joint art exhibition featuring the work
of Jamieson Michael Flynn and Alexandra
Sava Klimek. The event was held at the Funky Buddha Lounge
and was a overwhelming success. With over one hundred people
in attendence, this exhibition was a special night for myself,
Alexandra, and the Funky Buddha Lounge. Some of our work continues
to grace the walls of this superb venue.

A show symbolizing a tribute to the diversity
of South Florida. The exhibition was held outdoors around the
perimeter of a hospital so as to be seen by both drivers by
and attendants of the show.
